Hello,

since some weeks I and some customers have problems with some USB-Devices
like cameras and scanners. Some of them works, but very slowly. Other devices
appears in the device manager after connecting them, but a connection is not
possible. A Windows Mobile 5.0 device get first a connection, but loses it
after some seconds.

This happens on different Windows XP Pro. Computers with IE 7.0 and all
Updates. I think the reason was the new IE 7.0, because the problems began at
the same time. But a deinstallation of the IE 7.0 didn't change anything.

Does anyone know, what could be the problem?

Thanks.

This is a fairly common problem with XP systems. There are numerous fixes
available because what works for one system doesn't work on another. The
various fixes are long so try a Google search then try what you think might
work for you. I don't think IE7 has anything to do with it. You might find
good advice here: www.usbman.com

Hello,
thanks for the answer. I never had any bigger problems with USB devices
before. Sometimes with some devices from one vendor. I installed a new driver
and the problem was solved.
But now there are problems on different computers in different companies
with different USB-Devices at the same time. This devices have worked very
good before some weeks.
Thank you for the link. May be I will find there anything usefull.
