Problems with time

Hi, Folks!

I reinstalled my Computer (Outlook 2007 and Windows XP tablet) and too
the old pst file into the new installation.
Now all events are displayed 8 hours to early on my calendar and m
emails show an arrival time of 8 hours too late.

Please help. What can I do?

Diane: I use multiple computers in different time zones. I'm getting
messages from people telling me that messages sent from California in the PDT
zone with workstations set correctly with PDT time showing on the icon, are
being time stamped two hours earlier. If they were time stamped two hours
later, it would make sense that the problem might be with some setting on a
workstation in Texas using CDT. But earlier? I've checked all of the
workstations in both states. The time appears to be correct on the
workstations but when the messages are sent from either Texas or California
zones, they are stamped 2 hours earlier. Any thoughts?
 
The time is wrong somewhere - either your server or theirs. Are you using
exchange server? where is the mail server located? Are they looking at the
Sent time or the Received time? What time is in the message header?

Look at both the sent time (senders time setting):
Date: Thu, 18 Jun 2009 04:19:51 -0700
and server time stamps (recipients time settings):
Received: from your.gateway.com by your.mailserver.com<snip> Thu, 18 Jun
2009 07:25:36 -0400
Received: from sender.server.com ([IP.add.ress.xxx]) by your.gateway.com
<snip>Thu, 18 Jun 2009 07:25:34 -0400

Are there any discrepancies in the time on the stamps? Are the time zone
offsets correct?

It was our main server. Very strange. Though the server itself shows that
it is operating on PDT, the time icon on the bottom of the screen clearly
shows it's two hours off. I rebooted and think that may clear this. "When
in doubt, reboot!" Thanks for the clue as to where to find the problem.
