Problems with Task Manager

I have a problem with my task manager. When I try to open
it, it flashes onscreen and closes before I can do
anything. I managed to take a screenshot of it before it
closed and it says that my cpu is running at 100%.

What could be causing the processor to run so fast?

Please help, its doing my head in

No help, but do you get a little green square on the task
bar when you try to get the manager? Cuz I do.
look through the messages. there are many people with
this problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
