This is not Microsoft support, rather a public discussion group for MS
products.
The problem may depend on exactly which updates you installed, eg did you
install any drivers?
Some updates can be uninstalled
Does the reboot only occur whilst using a particular app?
Are there any error msgs?
Does Computer Management/event logs help?

Becky, I am not an expert or even a decent dweeb as far
as computers go, but when mine did this, i contacted
Microsoft twenty million times and finally (finally) got
connected to a LEVEL TWO TECHNICIAN. He told me (and
stayed on the phone while I did it) a WINSOCK PROGRAM.
fIXED IT ALL. The level one techs thought i had a virus
called sasser or blaster.
Call the l-800 number to microsoft tech support, choose
the option (program came with computer). and see if it
helps.
