Problems with System Restore

alright, so my computer had viruses on it so i had to
reloas windows and go back to the factory settings. i'm
trying to install McAffee's STINGER anti-virus program on
my computer, and i need to turn off system restore. only
my computer will not access the system restore window,
nothing happens when i click on it. does this mean that
it is not enabled on my computer, or is there something
wrong? any help would just make my day...thanks!
 
Alison, rt click MyComputer>Select Properties>System Restore. See if you
disable it. There's a check box.
