I setup a system the way I wanted it, copied the profile to the
default profile (Q291586), ran sysprep, made a image..........
But when I restored the image some things worked ok, some didn't. For
instance a couple desktop shortcuts I had created appeared ok and the
event log was empty (I had cleared it before running sysprep). But the
wallpaper wasn't there (specified the default Windows XP wallpaper)
and the NIC description was default and set to not appear when
connected (which I had set prior to running sysprep), plus a shortcut
to Windows Media player is now on the desktop where there wasn't one
prior to the system being imaged.
Not sure where to even start troubleshooting.........
