Problems with start up

I have problems with my computer when it opens up and opening programs and
websites. I have DSL which should be fast. Have two hard drives. My old
HD is divided in C,D,E, and the new HD has most of the space open. I even
installed new memory. The thing is that C has about 333MB left of space
(capacity of 1.99 GB), the other partitions have enough space and H has most
of the space free. Virtual memory , Windows and most of the programs run
out of C. Would that be affecting the startup and make my system sooo
slooowww!!! Or is there something else that I am not aware of. Any
suggestions on what I could do to make my system run faster? It takes
forever to open Int. Explorer, download mail, go to other websites, open
Word and Excel, etc. I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thanks a bunch ahead!!

Sounds like you have about 100 spyware ads trying to run at once lol.Do you run any spyware detectors and do you run anti virus up to date scans.Has your pc always ran this way with dsl,or has it just recently started doing this.If you dont have a spyware detector ,a good one you can get of the techtv.com web site, you just type this into the search box,its free and very affective.spybot search & destroy. Let me know if this helps.
