Hi everyone!
i'm working with some register from the IE settings, because I got problems with my ActiveX, they access my HD and the SP2 block them with the lockdown feature, i can't turn off the this register, so i read some pages and i found this solution:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInternet SettingsLockdown_Zones]
"1200"=dword:00000000
"1201"=dword:00000000
"1400"=dword:00000000
"1207"=dword:00000000

the first three are ok, but the last one i don't know what it does... if somebody can tell me what it does i appreciate very much...

Thanks for the link... but my problem, is that i need to know what does this key "1207"=dword:00000000, and if is possible that this change make other violations to the security on my computer...
again thanks
Franco

Don't look at me ... I use Firefox, no AX. ;)

I don't understand what you are trying to do ... :confused:

i'm try to see a document in my computer with an ActiveX, the SP2 from WinXp create a new feature LockDown, this feature block the access to the HD, so y put my server in the "My Computer" zone, so, i don't need give it privileges them to access the files...
This are the registres to do this
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVe rsionInternet SettingsLockdown_Zones]
"1200"=dword:00000000
"1201"=dword:00000000
"1400"=dword:00000000

But this one, i don't know if do anything else, that can damage my security
"1207"=dword:00000000

So, i need to know how exactly work it, and what affect to my computer.. thanks
