PROBLEMS WITH SOUND

Hello,

Recently upgraded to XP Home Edition from ME, problems with my sound
schemes, I saved them and for some strange reason when the computer is on
idle for sometime the sound schemes stop working, I have to restart the
computer in order to hear the sound schemes that I created . Can this
problem be fixed?

When you upgraded, did you also upgrade your soundcard drivers? If not,
try that first.

Never get drivers from Windows Update. Get them from:

1. The card mftr.'s website; OR
2. The motherboard mftr.'s website if hardware is onboard; OR
3. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM
computer (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the
drivers.
