Problems with sound in Powerpoint

I have created a powerpoint presentation and recorded
narration as linked sound. This was created on PPT 2002
version.
When I burn this to Cd and try to play it on ppt 2000
(another computer) version, The presentation plays but no
matter what I do I cannot get the sound to play.
Please Help!
 
Did you also burn the linked narration files to the CD?
