Problem 1.I bought a fan with a plug with one end a male
and one end a female (similar to how Christmas tree lights
plugs work). I unplugged my CD-ROm drive and plugged the
fan in and the attatched the power for the CD-Rom to the
fan plug. The CD-ROM and fan had power but my system
would not recognize the CD-ROM. I took the fam off and
everything returned to normal. Can someone explain this to
me?
Problem 2. After incident above, I could not get any
sound out of my games or my MP3 files. The system would
tell me that it did not support that file type? However,
my I have a TV video card and could hear my TV stations
through my sound card. How is this possible?
Thank you very much to those that respond.
