Problems with Signatures

Hi All,

Happy New Year - Although a little belated...

I have a problem with my Outlook 2007 settings. I have a number o
email accounts linked to it - 2 of which have email footers. I have se
the footers up independently and to the best of my knowledge they shoul
work..

However when I click to open a new message my default email accoun
opens Mark@home (for arguments sake), however when I chose to change t
an alternative email account - Mark@work the email account changes bu
the original (@home) signature stays the same....

Starting to get quite frustrated with it now!!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i haven't use MS outlook but for outlook express it will go as:
-> In Outlook Express, click Options on the Tools menu.
-> Click the Signatures tab.
-> Click to clear the Add signatures to all outgoing messages check box.
-> Click Apply, and then click OK.
when you compose a message and you want to add your signature, click
Signature on the Insert menu, and then click the signature you want to use.

hope will work for you

Outlook and Outlook Express are completely different products and it's rare
that the methods for configuring OE will work for Outlook as well.
 
Please include the message you are replying to - this is a newsgroup that
many forums slurp from to make their forums look active and those of us who
access it using a news reader don't always have access to older posts in the
thread. You can access this newsgroup by visiting

newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.

If I'm remembering the right problem. changing accounts should change sigs
if all accounts have a sig assigned and you use word as your editor. Try
detect and repair (office diagnostics in outlook 2007).

Hi Diane,

Thanks for the response - however it still doesnt work.

I have tried adding a signture to all 5 accounts - yet it still doe
not change....

Any other ideas?

Yes both accounts have different signatures...
