I am having problems running the dual display mode in PowerPoint 2003. I am running a continuously running presentation on one monitor while working on the other. The presentation includes some pictures, but mainly text

The problem is that the monitor that runs the presentation will freeze after a few minutes. I have 512Mb Ram in the system, and while I work (from the other monitor) I am not running programs that are too power hungry (i.e. MS Word, Search Engines, Outlook)

What could be the problem. Does anyone else experience freezing in dual display mode

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS! If you can, please send me an e-mail at (e-mail address removed).

PowerPoint freezes the slide show if you run another application at the same
time. Look at PowerShow add-in at
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html - it enables you run the
slide show on one monitor while you work on something else on the other.

- Chirag

Shortcut Manager - Assign keyboard shortcuts to menu items and macros
