Hallo,

When I try to save a wma of a wmv WMM tells me it cannot save the movie. I
have to check if the original sources still are availeble or if there is
enough space op de chosen location. Ther is plenty space (10 Gb) and the
files would be about 10 Mb, so that cannot be the problem. The original
files too are availeble (I just selected then from disk). I tried several
compressions. Only DV-PAL works, so it must be a problem with codecs. I
downloaded and installed codecs from MS (WM9Codecs) and WMEncoder, but the
problem stays.Just 2 weeks ago I used WMM without any problem. Has anyone an
idea how to solve this?

Well if it worked 2 weeks ago I suspect something you installed since then
may have caused a codec issue or even some other issue. I would do a System
Restore back 2 weeks and see if it works. Then install anything you had
installed since but one at a time rebooting and then trying WMM between
installs. This will tell you where the problem occurred.

Right. But.... system restore didn't work. And what I installed? Really only
virus-updates.

Well "When I try to save a wma of a wmv" really doesn't make much sense but
I am assuming you are just mixing up terms a little. Are you getting the
error message that says to verify the original sources..... ?
This can sometimes occur when using a filetype in your project that WMM
doesn't like to work with like MPG, MP3 or JPG. What are the types of files
in your project?

Sorry. A typo. I meant "a wma oR a wmv". And I used all kind of filetypes.
I tried to reconstruct a movie I made before with WMM. This one used wmv and
WMM should not have any problem with that.
