Please excuse the cross-posting, I wasn't sure which group was most
relevant.
We have deployed Windows 2000 Server & Active Directory with Windows XP
clients. Each user is setup with a roaming profile so that any user can
log-on to any PC. However, we've stumbled across a limitation when users
use their PC off-line, e.g. laptop users at home. It appears that users can
add or edit files within the MyDocuments when off-line but if they add new
files, rename them or make any changes to the folder structure then these
changes are lost the next time the user connects back to the network. Is
this the correct behaviour for off-line roaming profiles and is there
anything that can be done to overcome this limitation?
