I recently attempted to upgrade my graphics card machine running XP Home. I
put the new(er) card in a week ago, (didn't install any drivers) tried the
S-Video out to TV. That didn't work, but my monitor displayed properly. I
removed the new card and replaced it with the old and everything was OK. I
tried the new card again lst night and when windows began booting the screen
went blank. I tried the old card and nothing displays on the screen... not
even the BIOS loading. So with the new card I can see the BIOS and Window
booting, then nothing. With the old card I can not see anything.

Any ideas would be greatly appriciated!

Thanks.

You need to uninstall the drivers for the old card.

Shut down the PC, insert the new card. When the PC starts up, press F8 and
tell it to boot in VGA mode. Once it's booted, install the drivers for the
new card.
