Hello,
I am a new ATI owner and hence new to the group. I purchased off eBay an
AIW Radeon 9000 pro the other day. Well I have it installed and have just a
few problems.
1: I cannot seem to download my guide in guide plus. It just keeps telling
me that there is nothing for that date and that I need to check my date and
zip code settings. I clicked on the upgrade button and it reports that I
have the current version...
2: I installed the drivers for the Remote Wonder and then plugged it in to
my USB the computer finds it and says that it is installed and ready for use
(I am running XPsp2) but I cannot get anything to work. When I press a
button say TV for example the little red light on the Remote Wonder
illuminates but nothing happens on the computer. When I check the remote
wonder settings it asks if I want the icon in the system tray, I tell it yes
but I get no icon. In fact, the only way that I can tell that the receiver
is plugged in is to go into the device manager and then click the POWER tab
on the USB Root Hub. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing? I have
tried removing and re-installing the software and the receiver to no avail.
I then went to the ATI website and downloaded the latest drivers (3.03.0.0)
for the Remote Wonder, and they hang up on the install and report that one
of the .dll files failed to register...FRUSTRATING!
Thanks in advance
Craig
