Problems with Radeon AIW 9600 PRO

Hi,

has anyone experienced problems with setting up TV and FM radio using
Radeon AIl-in-Wonder 9600 Pro?

On my side it looks like follows:
- Windows XP SP1 + all available patches
- strong PC (P4 2.6 Mhz, motherboard ASUS P4C800 Deluxe, 512 MB RAM)
- Sapphire Radeon AIl-in-Wonder 9600 Pro
- ATI drivers, Multimedia Center, Remote Control: all of them are
up-to-date (latest available from ATI's web page)
- Multimedia Center configured with the correct decoding standard (PAL
D/)
- antenna cable (tested with a TV set and a radio set) connected to
the Radeon card

Result:
- no FM signal (radio)
- no TV signal (just a message about lack of the TV signal and
automatic switch over to Video-In)

Any suggestion or help is appreciated.

I had this problem and was certain I had all the updates. However I
was missing the fix for PAL tuners under DirectX 9.0b which is not
automatic.
Look for Knowledge Base article KB825116.
You will need to re-run the Initialization wizard once you have the
fix.
