Problems with profile

Just came home and start my PC and find out that my
desktop is empty, all my mail accounts gone...

I opened new user acount and try to copy setings from
current to new and hope it will work, but after strating
copy I got this message:

Failed to set Securty on the Destination Profile. Error -
The configuration registry database is corrupt

Please help
