Hi,

I am hoping someone here can help me. I have a canon i850 inkjet printer, which worked fine up until about three weeks ago. Now Windows XP doesn't reconize it. I cannot uninstall the driver or reinstall the driver. Everytime I go to add it a error message comes up saying "Operation could not be completed". I have hooked up the printer with a brand new printer cable. Everything is on and hooked up right. I really don't know what happened.

I am having the same issue with an HP Officejet D145. The the printer software would also not install completely making reference to MS Virtual Machine. HP first said it was a chipset issue on the new motherboard, but revised that to say it was an OEM issue with the operating system and Microsoft VM and the JAVA...blah...blah blah.

Should anyone has some comment or a fix, please advise
