Problems with Outlook 2007 Send and Receive

I´m having troubles with the current installation of Outlook 2007. Clicking
on Send/Receive, the process does not start at all and terminates with an
Error message, when i click on that, it disappears

Then, a few seconds later it´s working and downloading the messages, often
the entries are twice, meaning it downloads all mailboxes twice too.

The accounts are working on another computer and via webmail, so it´s no
problem with the servers there, all of them are normal POP / SMTP

Any ideas what causes this strange behavior? Microsoft Update has nothing
for me :(

And the exact text of that message is?

See if something here helps: http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/duplicates.htm
