Problems with operating system time...

I am using Windows XP Professional, and after using it
for...well since it came out, the time in the lower right
started getting really fast. It usually gets around 12
to 15 minutes ahead of time. I sync it up with the
internet time server, and then after a few hours, it is
back to the fast time. Does anyone know why it would do
this? I do run a network of two computers with a D-Link
604 broadband router, but I have had that almost as long,
and it only started doing this now...
 
If you have a Dell, visit their web site as they have a patch for this
issue.
 
I do not have a DELL, though I am still going to check
this out...

Aside from this, do you have any other suggestions?
