Problems with Nero

I want to use my Nero burning software, but XP ties up
the burner with it's own progam. How do I disable XP's
program so I can use Nero?

There was no answer in FAQs that I saw.

One poster on another group siad to disable the packet
writing software built into XP, but I don't see how to do
that.

Hello

That is not true I use Nero at home on my XP box and works
just fine, matter of fact I have both Nero and Roxio so not sure
what your talking about here. maybe it's something that your
doing wrong

Click My Computer/right click drive/properties/recording tab/untick
enable cd recording.

Did you install NERO InCD, too? Then that's the problem. Either
uninstall InCD or disable the imapi burning service using services.msc
