Outlook Problems with my outlook - distroying attachments

Hi

Can anyone help - I have installed Microsoft Office Outlook 2006 and it is destroying my attachments eg. word, Excel, pdf ect. - so I have changed to Thunderbird and uploaded settings and mail from outlook.

However, this is doing the same thing - can anyone help me with the problem please. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it remained the same.
