problems with my HP Deskjet 710C

I encountered problems with my HP Deskjet 710C. Even though the ink
cartridges are new the ink light keeps blinking, has anyone had the
same problem before?

You sure that you have the correct ink?

710c takes HP23 and HP45 cartridges, other types will not work in this printer,
if you have the correct ones then most probably one of the ones you bought is
defective. You could try to clean the contacts on the back of the cartridges
first, if that fails then ask the supplier to replace them. This printer is
very reliable so I doubt if it is anything other than one of the cartridges.
