I've been having a problem with my MSN Messenger 6.2 for
the last four days. Everytime I try to sign in it
freezes. It will allow me to sign in but before it loads
it freezes. Please help me to fix this.

Greetings,

You may need to completely remove your Messenger settings and then try again. To do so,
click Start, then Run,
then type:
%appdata%\microsoft
and click OK.

Right-click the MSN Messenger folder and choose Delete.

Then, start the registry editor by clicking Start, then Run, type "regedit" and then
click OK. Navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger key (they look
like folders), click the MSNMessenger key, then choose the Edit menu, and then choose Delete.

After all this, restart Messenger and see if the problem has been corrected.

Thanks, I tried what you suggested but unfortunately it
didn't help. My MSN still freezes up. This isn't a
problem I've had with just one computer. I've tried
signing in on two different computers. Thanks anyways.
