I have trying for several days to download the Personal Budgeting template
from Miccrosoft Office Excel. Each time I attempt to do this I receive a
message from Microsoft saying that there is a problem with the Microsoft
Office server and I am asked to try later.

How long is this problem likely to last?
Is it an indication that I have a problem with my computer?

I have Microsoft Office 2000 installed.

Any advice from someone who has had a similar problem would be appreciated.

Make sure your computer is not blocking cookies from the website. I had a
similar problem and allowing cookies solved it

In addition to allowing cookies you may have to.......

1. Click tools
2. Click internet options
3. Click privacy tab
4. In the web sites area, click edit
5. In the address of web site textbox, paste
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/templategallery/
6.Click allow
7.Click OK
8.Click apply
9.Exit ie and restart system

After restarting your computer, try going to the template gallery and it
should work.

Gord,
Maybe you can help me too. xl2002 closes when I try to download a template.
The old "would you like to report". I set to accept all cookies and set
trusted site and still get it.
