Problems with Java and MSDN

I am running in Windows XP Home and I get an error message whenever I click
on a hyperlink in MSDN. The message goes as follows: Line:1
Character:1
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL: mk:@MSIT Store:C:\Program
Files%20Files\Microsoft%20visual%20Studio\MSDN98\98VSa\1033\
vbenlr98.chm:/HTML/vafctgetobject.htm
This not only occurs when looking at the GetObject function but nearly all
hyperlinks in the library. I have uninstalled Visual Studio and MSDN to no
avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may be able to fix the problem by installing Microsoft Critical
Update 811630, which is available from this page:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811630

This will install the latest versions of the components required to
view HTML Help files.
