Hi
After a reboot of WinXP i recieved the following Err-Msg:Windows could not
start because of an error in the software.
I tryied to do an in-place upgrade of Windows, booting from the cd-rom.
(Article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326671/EN-US/)
But the cd-rom-setup doesn't find any installation of winXP on my HD. So the
in-place upgrade doesn't work.
When i start the repair console to configure the "boo.ini" with the command
"BOOTCFG", i'll find an installation of WinXP and i can add this installation
to my boot-list.
why didn't i find an installation in the in-place upgrade of WinXP?
Thank you a lot
Michele
