Problems with IExplorer 7

My computer (Medion multimedia; Processor: Intel Pentium D 830; Ram: 3072
Mbytes DDR2) has never been able to run MSIExplorer 7 stable.

I first tried the beta version in 2006 but had to reinstall version 6 (and
Firefox).

Recently I upgraded Win XP hope to XP Pro; MSIExplorer 7 was installed among
other updates from Microsoft Update.

If I start Explorer from a link in a document, it may run for a few seconds
or minutes before closing down with the message (translated from Danish):
"Internet Explorer has found an error and terminates".

If I try to start Explorer directly from the desktop the programme attempts
to open http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx but the programme always shuts
down before I can use it.
