I am getting this error regularly
the instruction at "0x000fb064" referenced memory at "0x000fb064". The
memory could not be "read".
It appears each time I start up and now I seem to be having problems with
other Office programs and wonder if they are connected? Can any one share a
solution with me?

Thanks for looking at my problem.

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Malware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at
http://forum.aumha.org/ for expert analysis, not here.**
Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.

Done all that in fact what got me to this point I believe was started from
dealing with a hijack issue. I resolved the issue but now my IE6 is messed up.

Hi Skip :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

LPS-FIX

http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html
(if your OS is Win2k or XP) The process of removing certain malware may kill
your internet connection. If this should occur, this program, LSPFIX, will
enable you to regain your connection.

and..

Winsock Fix Utility
http://www.dfwonline.net/files/WinsockFix.zip

WinsockXP Fix for XP
http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html
Also, with instructions, at
http://www.iup.edu/house/resnet/winfix.shtm
(NOTE: It is reported that in XP SP2, the command netsh winsock reset
will fix this problem without the need for these programs.)

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

Jan :)
