hi
I have a programm which needs opening xml files in internet explorer 6. But
since I have windows xp sp2 I'm not able to open them. I have a security
warning. I have disabled the pop up blocker but I still can not open xml
files.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
It's probably not caused by the attachment manager feature since XML files
aren't high risk:
883260- Description of how the Attachment Manager works in Windows XP
Service Pack 2: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=883260

It sounds like the Local Machine Zone lockdown is causing the problem.

Try this... Internet Options> Advanced> Security> check "Allow active
content to run in files on My Computer ."

It works now, thanks
