Problems with "Form" view and "Design" view

I'm using Access 2000. When I view a form in "Design" view, I like to have
the "Properties" dialogue box open as the default. The problem is that when
I switch to "Form" view, the dialogue box remains and I have to close it.
When I switch back to Design view, I have to open it again.

Is there a way to keep the properties dialogue box open in Design view but
closed in Form view? This seemed to be the default behavior with Access 97.

Thanks in advance,
John

Yes, in the "other" tab of the forms property sheet, you can change it from
"all views" to just design view for the sheet to show.....

I very much of the same view that displaying the sheet in form view is a bad
default choice.
(at least you can change this behaviour).

In 2007 this problem is gone.....
