Problems with fonts

I played around with some fonts - enlarging them and printing them out in
outline. i noticed that the letters in some fonts - like Frosty - cannot be
separated but some could be separated by printing them on separate lines.
Afterwards I noticed that all the words in all my documents are now separated
by a full stop and are covered in indent marks. These unwanted bits do not
print out but are annoying on the screen. Any help would be gratefully
accepted!
