I have for the past few days been unable to gain access
to EBAY, which I have been using successfully now for
years.

I keep getting numerous script errors when trying to
access any of their pages.

I have seen other posts on this within both the forums
for Microsoft and on ebay discussion pages (using another
machine running ie5.5) and all these suggest is removing
cookies, emptying recycle bin and restarting the machine,
and NONE of these work.

I have also tried accessing via EBAY.COM rather than
EBAY.co.uk.

Can anyone advise me if they have had similar problems
and how they have fixed them. I am also unable to find an
email contact address for EBAY to report this problem to
them !

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

Frank, thanks for quick response. I have done as you
suggested and downloaded script and restarted my machine.

The problem still exists as before....any other ideas?

When trying to go directly to ebay.co.uk I get the
following message:

" link="#0000FF">

Other script errors appear if you try different routes.

Thanks again for your support

My problem eventually fixed via self help and searching
newsgroups...

New title due to understanding that Mcafee was the
program interaction with ebay script changes that was
causing my particular problem.
