Hi,
I have a couple of issues with the "desktop toolbar" that is enabled
by "Right-click Taskbar > Toolbars > Desktop" and appears to the left
of the systray. I was wondering if anyone could help resolve them:
1) When I first enabled the taskbar it appeared that its icons were
sorted in alphabetical order. But yesterday, when I couldn't find an
entry where I expected it, I noticed there are a bunch of program
shortcuts appearing above the others. It looks something like:
My Documents
My Computer
My Network Places
Recycle Bin
Internet Explorer
Alpha *
Bravo *
Charlie *
Delta *
Alpha
Bravo
Charlie
Delta
Echo
Foxtrot
Golf
Hotel
I've placed asterisks next to those I'm referring to. The programs
that appear there don't seem to have anything in common. Why is this
happening and how can I fix it?
2) I don't have the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop, nor is it
my default browser. But it appears near the top of the desktop toolbar
(as shown above), and when I attempt to delete it with a right-click >
delete, it comes back. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Thanks,
Ed
