No problem!

1. Go to computer dealer
2. Present credit card
3. Take new DVD reader home
4. Install new DVD reader

You can then use the old reader for one region and use the new reader
for the other region.

Note that DVD region codes are a Digital Rights Management (DRM)
function. In some jurisictions defeating DRM functions is illegal
(overides undocumented "fair use") and exposes violators to potential
fines and jail time.

In Jim had this to say:

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:

Pretty much what Robert said. No. There is no help for you. Well, no,
there's no help for you that I'm going to give. You can likely find software
to use the drive still. A search engine will guide you with the proper key
words. However, no. I will not support that I'm afraid. You get five times,
I get five times, everyone gets five times. Buyer beware and make sure to
change them only when needed.

there are plenty of programs out there that will unlock the region code, do a
google search for "unlock dvd region code" or something along those lines, im
sure you will come up trumps ;-) pete

Pete, you complain about recieving abuse, but you have copied and pasted my
earlier answer to this question, way to go !!!!

oh no, sorry sorry sorry, i have done that before and i have said that the
part in question was copied and pasted from an earlier post, but at the same
time if people took the time to serach for answers it would save a lot of
time posting, and also the other people in this post told him "TUFF" go and
buy a new player, so how come they dont get a telling off, what they wrote
was a complete load of tosh, double standards!!!
