PROBLEMS WITH BOOTING

Ive got burned from lighting on a system with win2000.I
changed Main Board with a different model (cos mine model
no more avaible)and now he cant load up mine old Win2000.I
catch the "screen of death" at win booting with
UNACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error.Im sure is the IDE because
from Step by Step i seen where Win2000 crash.I have like
100 application installed on it, and mine Ghost images r
good for fishes (cos they are the same OS ive got on my
HDD).I no want reinstall from zero.How i can solve this
problem??How I change mine Win2000 IDE drivers if i can't
start OS??I can do it manually??If Yes how i can do??

You are pretty much screwed, I've had this happen by just
changing the processor. You can try to use the Repair
option on the 2000 CD, but no guarantees. The only other
thing I can think of you can do is recover the data,get
another HD and build it from scratch and boot to it and
then import the old 'foreign' drives.
