Problems with background image

Im trying to get the background of a subform the same as the form its placed
in. Ive had no problems in doing it with the other subforms on the main form
but this one seems to throw up the following error message

"object variable or with block variable not set"

Im in properties, //form/format/picture

im linking it to the following

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\BITMAPS\STYLES\ACSUMIPT.GIF

Any ideas ???
 
does this happen when a piece of code is running, and if so what line does
it fail on?
