problems with ActiveX controls

first off, i am a computer novice. everytime i try to
play an online game, this is what comes up on my
computer:"Your current security settings prohibit running
ActiveX controls on this page. As a result the page may
not diplay correctly." what does this mean and how can i
fix it. Please reply to (e-mail address removed) thanx.....

Your security settings in your browser probably are prohibiting the ActiveX
download. You probably need to adjust those items, usually under
Tools/Internet Options/Security. Be sure to take a look in the Help section
for your browser before doing so.
