This started occuring sometime in August.
When I try to save a pcture (like the Google logo on Google.com) by going to
"Save As" or " Save Picture As".
From here the "Save Picture" opens and the problem occurs when either the
desktop icon (to save to desktop) or using the dropdown box and selecting
desktop from here IE 6.0 will freeze for several minutes and then resume
allowing me perform what I was saving.
I have ran all appropriate virus scans (it's up to date) , Adaware, and MS
tools.
Any ideas? Is it possible the registry keys that govern the saving or
desktop selections are corrupt or damaged?
I've discovered no fixes yet.
