Ever since an upgrade last week, I've been having trouble
viewing posts and attachments on message boards that I'm
a member of. On one board, after logging in, I click on a
link to a post and it reloads the boards homepage. And on
another, I can get into the post, but everything I click
on an attachment, it won't allow me to view it.

There has to be some way to fix this. Please help.

"Upgrade" == WinME to XP?

<title>KB282850 - Cookies Lost After Upgrading to Windows XP</title>

(MSKB Boolean search for
cookies AND kbwinxpsearch
)

---

I upgraded from a Celeron 855 mhz, with a 10gb hard drive
and 256mb ram , to a PentIV 2.8 ghz, with 120gb hard
drive and 512mb ram. I'm still using WIN XP as I was
before, through a DSL connection.

Major changes; upgrade is a small understatement. <g> Now we know that you
referred to HD, Processor, etc.stuff. Anyway, tried the cookies suggestion?
Also, the other suggestions? With changes such as those you've made, perhaps
you're initial settings in basic areas need some looking into. I'd look into
the IE Options areas such as Security, Privacy (cookies), and Advanced
(browsing area) tabs. Might try setting those (after noting what you have,
and any special configurations) to default and seeing if that works. IE is
"pretty loose" in it's default configuration. Should be able to browse with
ease, and pick up drive-by spyware in a New York second too. <BG>
