Hi,
I downloaded and installed the easyInk control from the Odysee website.
After I right click on the dialog and select insert "ActiveX Control" I
select the PPC2002 ARM easyInk.ocx.
Then I get "Failed to find desktop version of control in registry.
Please verify that this control has been successfully registered on the
desktop."
I know that I have to register the Win32 version of this control to
place it on the dialog.
As far as I can tell the Installer is supposed to do this, I did a
regsvr32 on the easyink.ocx too.
There is a version of this ocx in C:\WINDOWS\system32 and I have a
registry node in
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{4D17496D-7DA3-11D4-9270-00105AA9A07C}
Is there some other place eVC 3.0 looks for the Win32 version of the
control?
What I noticed now is that a directory called "Registered Activex
Controls" appears in the explorer (at the same level as the harddrives)
if I click on Project/Add To Project/Components and Controls.
This one contains lots of entries, including the easyInk control.
The directory in eVC (C:\Programme\Microsoft eMbedded
Tools\Common\EVC\Gallery\Registered ActiveX Controls) is empty though.
