Problems Using Mcafee Privacy

It seems that Microsoft and Mcafee don't play well
together. I found this problem very repeatable while
using Mcafee Privacy Service a program Limiting Internet
access till a password is given. Antivirus picks up a LSP
used in Mcafee that MAntivirus Pulls out and asks if you
want to do a Scan because of security reasons if you
choose "Yes do scan" absolutely nothing happens and
Mcafee fails to boot. Big Issue...
 
Thanks for the report--is there a version number associated with this Mcafee
product?
