Hello,
I installed Iomegaware v 4.02. Then I uninstalled it. When
I use system info (programs-accesoires-system tools-system
information) services section I see:

Iomega Active Disk
Iomega Activity Disk 2
Iomega App Services

All three are stopped and disabled. Shouldn't these be
gone after an uninstall and restart?

Also, when I look at the drivers section in system info I
see:

Iomdisk - Iomega Devices Disk Filter Services
ppa - Iomega parallel port filter driver

The former is not started the latter is started.

I think this is keeping my machine form hibernating by
itself - used to work, doesn't anymore

Shouldn't these services and drivers be disabled and
removed after uninstalling and restarting? How can I do
that?

You are probably going to have to edit the registry.
Many "uninstall" routines leave all sorts of data in the
system registry which can cause problems like this. Back
up your current registry first and then edit the registry
and search for any occurrences of Iomega and delete them.
This will prevent any old drivers or services from
starting when you boot up. To edit the registry click
start, run, and type regedit in the window and hit ok.
click edit and then find and type in Iomega and click
findnext.

Be Careful editing the registry and removing the entries
for "Iomega". I agree that it needs to be done, but
backup your "data"... I had a similar problem, edited the
registry and removed the entries for "Iomega" and then had
a paperweight! I ended up having to reload Windows, and
reload my backed up data... For some reason,
Windows "references" "Iomega" even if you don't have a Zip
drive or Iomega drive! So, "Backup!" your data and be
prepared for a reload.
