Steve M.

I am currently running Outlook 2000 SP-3 with Windows XP-
Pro. I have it set up for Internet mail only. When I
start Outlook it gives me a dialog box titled Microsoft
Mail. With fill in spots for Mail box, Post Office and
Password. I have to click oof line in order to get
outlook to run. How can I stop this dialog box from
appearing everytime I start Outlook. I am using internet
mail, not an exchange server. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

The title bar of the window is "Internet Accounts" there
is only one tab and it is labelled "Mail" Then under
that is a list of my internet mail accounts.

I think I figured it out. I reconfigured outlook for
corporate or work group, then in the tools menu I went to
services and removed microsoft mail and exchange server.
The services option is not there in internet mail only
mode. Then I reconfigured for internet mail only and
that seems to have cured it. Thank you very much for
your help.

Double click on the mail icon to open the mail
dialogs.
Tell me what you
show in the first window for mail services.

|| Go to control panel->mail. Remove the Microsoft
Mail
service and use
