Hi all,

I'm running IE 6.0 (was installed), updated my Acrobat reader to 6.0 and
after that some trouble began. It seems Acro is not correctly registered.
I get the following behaviour
(1) PDFs won't open - IE saying he can't find Acrobat Reader
(2) then I run Acro and it registers Acro for PDFs, telling me that
Acro was not registered ...
(3) on the next single try in IE6, PDFs are opened with Acro
(4) but then again, IE6 (or whoever) seems to "forget" the registration and I
start with step (1) again - quite annoying

I also have Notes 5 and it seems (was not able to reproduce it) that Notes 5
seems to corrupt the assignments..

Anybody seen such or similar behaviour and know how to fix it

Thanks in advance

Try uninstalling all version of Acrobat Reader and then reinstalling Version
6.0. After the uninstall, look through Program Files\Adobe , Program
Files\Common Files , Documents and Settings\<username>\Local
Settings\Application Data , Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data and manually delete any files that weren't cleared out by the install
were related to Adobe Reader.

It is possible that there is a conflict with some of the old 5.0 files.

seems so - I uninstalled 6.0, removed the Adobe subdirectory - installed 6.0
again and now it works fine

Thank you Gregg
