problems running Fifa 2006

Hi,
I have ATI Radeon 800X card with 256M. Windows gives it a good rating, yet
when I try to run Fifa 2006 I get an error message saying "this game requires
hardware acceleration". I have installed the newest video card drivers for
Vista and have tried re-installing the game, but the problem wont go away.
Help?

Problem solved.

Change the resolution of your desktop to 1024*768. In Windows Vista, if your
resolution is higher the game won't run.

You can perhaps try doing this with other games that experience similar
problems,
