Problems Printing

I've tried all of the trouble shooting and nothing
works. My computer will send the file to the printer,
the paper jams when it is really not jammed. Eventually
it takes me 3 or more times of shutting down to make it
work properly. Sometimes the "printing status" menu
stays on the screen and does nothing. If I wait 15
minutes eventually it will print. I thought at first it
was a printer problem but there are other printers on the
network that I try to print to that do the same thing and
they are all different manufacturers. Any suggestions?

Tonsbeek -- did you ever fix this problem? I have just run int
something very similar. If I shut down, on rebooting the print jo
will finish and/or start over again from the beginning. Ver
irritating.

I found another post on this forum relating to clearing the print queu
from control panel (to) administrative tools (to) services to prin
spooler to restart, but haven't tried it yet (I'm away from my offic
right now)but still this would be a big hassle!
