Problems printing to My Epson Stylus C80

My system has decided suddently it does not recognize my
printer, even though I have been using it for a couple
years. In the past week I have installed new drivers and
done everything requsted of me by the Epson website and my
printer disk. If you've had this problem, please let me
know how you fixed it.

I'm having same problem with Epson Stylus 600. Did you
try "Add printer" from Printers & Faxes in Control Panel
and get "Operation could not be completed" message?
 
Your print spooler has stopped. Start it before you try to install. From
the command prompt type:

net start spooler
(and hit enter)
